Professor Yukihiro Ozaki Selected as a Fellow by the International Council of Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (ICNIRS)

Professor Yukihiro Ozaki, a faculty member of the Chemistry Department at the School of Science and Technology, was selected as a Fellow by the International Council of Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (ICNIRS), in recognition of his major contributions to fundamental research, development and practical applications in the field of NIR spectroscopy. Professor Ozaki received his Fellowship Award at the 2017 ICNIRS Conference, held in Copenhagen on June 12th.

ICNIRS Fellows are selected only once every two years. ICNIRS Fellowship Awards are given to researchers with long histories of making outstanding contributions to the science of near-infrared spectroscopy in the theoretical realm and in practice, as well as industry-related and educational contributions.
