Special Program by the KG Graduate School of Policy Studies Research Consortium: “How Will AI Change Society?”

The Kwansei Gakuin Graduate School of Policy Studies Research Consortium will hold the 19th annual Research Consortium General Millennium Project Program on May 26th (Friday), entitled “Pursuing New Possibilities for Policy Studies – Solution for the Future,” on the Nishinomiya Uegahara campus. The theme of the program is “How Will AI Change Society?” To mark the occasion, Mr. Masaya Mori, global head of the Rakuten Institute of Technology, will give a special lecture on “The Post-‘Individualization’ World of AI Applications and Collaboration.” Citing past precedent with the Rakuten Research Institute, Mr. Mori will talk about the best use of AI, its necessity in business centered on e-commerce, and future projections.
After the presentation, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Professor Kazutoshi Sumiya, head of the Research Center for Social Informatics in the KG Graduate School of Policy Studies. Mr. Mori will be joined by Professor Asako Miura, head of the Research Center for Social Psychology in the KGU Graduate School of Humanities, and Professor Park Seung-Joon of the KG Graduate School of Policy Studies, as they discuss the changes brought about by AI and its future possibilities. In addition, poster presentations will be displayed in the venue lobby during the day.
